The Arsenal SAM7 is an authentic and time proven AK-47. This rifle features a 16.25” steel barrel chambered in 7.62x39mm with a 1:9.5 twist rate for optimal performance in all conditions. Traditionally AK’s are milled receivers are machined from bar stock. So what is the big deal? Arsenals hot-die hammer forging produces stronger and finer-grained steel, meaning internal voids and cooling deformations are eliminated by the 5-ton hammer forging process. Every SAM7 forged receiver requires over 5.5 hours of milling before assembly. The Arsenal forging and milling process is complex and time-intensive, but Arsenals meticulous attention to detail delivers a receiver of unequalled strength, precision and durability. Additionally, this AK features an enhanced firing control group and side folding stock for great operational capacity.
